The CFS-W338 has many advantages of a home recording studio, at least the closest thing to a recording studio that you will find for an affordable list price. The dual stereo cassette deck allows you to dub and edit music. With two-speed tape dubbing you can reduce recording time in half. The synchronized operation allows you to start recording on deck B when playback on deck A begins. You can also record straight from the radio. Unlike many boomboxes on the market, the CFS-W338 has a built-in microphone. Recording can be done without the need for an external microphone. The unit does not offer many other features. Other than a tone control that allows you to adjust bass and treble, there is nothing else you can do to change the quality of the sound.
